Bob Poe uses appropriation of everything from technique to subject matter in his dark and often comic compositions. Undefined by any one style, he enjoys the challenge of mixing media with any other means that best suits the execution of his next idea. Though deeply tied to the grand history of painting, his works are stages for the stories of today.
