Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe

Pizza is an Italian word that means ‘pie.’ It is a type of snack that can be eaten at any time of the day with any drink. Not only is pizza a type of meal it is also food in itself. Pizza is a carbohydrate but can also be combined with proteins like beef and pork, various fruits such as pineapples and apples, and other ingredients to make it more nutritious and mouthwatering. Pizza can be prepared in different ways, and toppings can be added to make it more delicious and more suited to your dietary preference, whether it is gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian.

A delicious pizza can be made at home in the comfort of your house without having to order for it, which can take much longer. Why not become a chef for a day and make yourself a homemade delicious pizza? If you’re up for it, all you need are the following ingredients and you’re all set.

 

Ingredients Needed :

• Half a kilogram of wheat flour
• Oil
• Garlic
• Chicken, beef or pork (optional)
• Apples, pineapples or chopped mangoes (optional)
• Red chili
• One tablespoon of yeast
• 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil
• One tablespoon of icing sugar
• Cheese
• Tomato sauce
• A tablespoon of salt
• Lukewarm water

Recipe:

Step 1

Sieve the half a kg wheat flour in a bowl so that the lumps will be separated, which will make it easier to create the dough. Pour that in a bowl and add the icing sugar, yeast, oil and salt, and mix in the lukewarm water. Knead the mixture until it becomes dough. Afterward, cover it and leave it to rise for one and a half hours.

Step 2

Put the pan on the cooker. Once it’s heated enough, pour in the oil, followed by the garlic that is already chopped. Add the desired protein – chicken, beef or pork, if you wish, as well as the red chili. Or if you’re vegetarian, add the fruit toppings. Heat it up for 15 minutes while you mix them together.

Step 3

After an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the rise of the dough, start kneading and rolling it with a kitchen roller to flatten it in circular shapes.

Step 4

Pour the tomato paste or sauce onto the dough, making sure to spread it evenly. Add your toppings next. Once you’re satisfied with the amount, put the dough in the oven and heat until ready. When it’s done, take it out of the oven, cut into the desired number of slices, and you’re done!
